Apologies for lack of updates over the last few weeks. Since semi-completion of the portfolio website i’ve been extremely busy, needless to say my official last day at Sainsburys is August 20th! I don’t want to discuss anything past that, I’ll update you when I can.
Visitors to this site are doing quite well - which is only a good thing. I’ll be launching a few new projects as and when I get time to finish them. There’s quite a nice blog thats in development.
I must say, hats of to Lachy, the individual I sold webdevlounge.com to - he’s shot it up to 111 (last time I looked) RSS subscribers which is fantastic.
Until next time (I WILL sort RSS out!)
Right its been a day of two since I ‘finished’ this portfolio website but since I’ve noticed a few bits and bobs that need tidying up.
The main thing thats been annoying me is the contact section - I’ve got the nice little slide going but nothing of substance to go in it! For now i’ve popped in an email address just to make it functional, but it wont do.
This blog needs a bit of work to, namely an rss feed etc.
Hello and welcome to the ‘journal’ of yours truly. I aim to update this little corner of the internet as much as I can but i’m not going to be making any promises ( and therefore not breaking any… ).
I have been building my ‘portfolio/cv’ site, extensively for the last week or so and I’m extremely pleased with the outcome.
Its clear, concise but a little swish thanks to the unobtrusive jQuery effects ( contact slider and portfolio item hover ). As standard, the pages are xhtml and css valid.
I’ll get an RSS feed up and working - this journal was a lower priority and is therefore still “under construction”.
Why have a I called it ‘journal’? 2 reasons really. 1. I saw it on Anthony Bullocks site and it just sounded a bit neat and… 2. I’m fed up with calling it blogging ( it just reminds me of the many doomed blogs i’ve attempted! ).
